OLDER NEWS - 12TH OCT 2004-13TH DEC 2006

13th December 2006 - the wonderful Cindy has completed a revision of her story, Birds in a Gilded Cage. This was one of the first fanfic's I read, or could find all those years ago before I created this site and wrote my own fics. Thank you Cindy for keeping in touch and for giving us a gem of an adventure for our favourite characters. If you haven't read it in a while, do youself a favour, it's better than ever.

15th November - goodness, it's been awhile, hasn't it. I have to admit, that LOTG is no longer my consuming interest at the moment. I've been doing other things, at other sites and in real life, all of which, combined with the lack of anything really new that I can add, other than DVD caps, has meant a cronic lack of updates over the past few months. LOTG is due to be released, yet again, on DVD sometime within the next six months, so soon, those fans that don't already have the series on disc, will soon do so and enjoy watching the episodes as much as I have. But unless someone decides to start writing LOTG fanfiction, or contributing artwork again, I won't be adding to this website myself, other than with seasonal artwork, or occasional updates as I get the time or the inspiration. I have appreciated the friendships I've made through this website, and loved corresponding with those that chose to contact me, as well as contribute in one way or another. So, thank you for visiting, and I hope you enjoy, or have enjoyed your time here.

12th September - Updated the DVD section in The Hub - added three episodes - Deadly Dart, Secret City of Limbo, Wild Journey - enjoy.

16th August - oh dear, been missing in action again. Sorry folks, I don't know how the time seems to disappear so quickly. As I mentioned back in June I am writing my first original novel - well it's finished and now in the process of being edited and polished, in preperation for formatting into a manuscript. That all takes time - lots, and lots of time. I am also into pre-production of a sequel *eek* - which means my time devoted to my websites has dropped off dramatically. Just not enough of me to go around at the moment. As I have told other fans who have enquired, I will attempt updates later this month, particularly in the DVD screen caps section. In the meantime, wish me luck and have a great week.

28th June - added another illustrated short story by Melody - Mermadia.

21st June - added a LOTG short story, Child's Play by Melody to "other authors" section. Thank you Melody for the story and images.

18th June - Goodness, if has been awhile since I added anything. I've been very engrossed in my new writing career, as well as joining the local writers group and acting as a judge on a couple of fiction competitions. That's my excuse, anyway. In the meantime, I've added to page 4 of the DVD section, A Small War, with two sets of DVD caps - by JTR and Dan. Thank you guys, much appreciate your great efforts for the site. Enjoy.

8th May - John has completed his great illustrated fanfic "LOTG-A Love story" with chapter 11 and an Epilogue. Enjoy.

2nd April - added to the DVD caps on page 8 - Dan has created a selection of caps of his favourite scenes from Collectors Item and Comeback. Valerie fans will Enjoy.

30th March - added a new section of fanfiction to the "Other Author's" - I scanned the Short Stories that featured in the '71 & '72 TV21 annuals.

28th March - Well, it looks like we made the move to the new webserver in one piece. As before, if you trip over any broken links or missing pages, please email me and let me know. I'll be adding new updates once I confirm that the move is complete. Have a great week.

8th March - I am pleased to let you know that the money needed to keep the three sites available for all to enjoy has been raised by fans from all three fandoms. The sites will be moved to their new webhost on the 15th March - there will probably be a shake-down period over a few days, so be patient. My thanks go to those fans who generously donated to the cause of keeping this site up and running for another year, and hopefully into the future.

18th February - as you will have noticed, there is a poster on the front page, asking you to help save this site. I urge you to at least read the page. Thank you.

28th January - added more "Pay the Piper" caps to page 8, added a new page(9) of caps for five more season two episodes in the DVD caps gallery at The Hub. Added a couple of Ladies of LOTG collage to John's gallery. Thank you John.

19th January - added two more episodes to the DVD caps page.8 - The Clones and Comeback. Bear in mind that these are caps of 'off-air' episodes burned to DVD to complete the second season cut short by Colombia House in their commercial release, so the quality is not as pin sharp as season one DVD caps. That said, I'm glad to have anything at all, so I'm no complaining.

18th January - okay folk, I've run in to a little problem. My site has reached its storage limit of 200MB. That being the case, I am working on increasing the limit by another 50MB but that's the ceiling. I am also looking at weeding out, and maybe resizing some of the galleries, as the images are the ones soaking up the majority of the storage (of course). As space becomes available I will add new galleries, particularly in the DVD screen caps, but in the meantime, if you try to access a gallery and you can't, it's because I'm doing maintenance. If you find a gallery completely missing, now you know why. I will be watching the statistics of the site to see what galleries are never, or hardly ever viewed, to decided whether to keep them. None of the images will be totally lost, as I keep the originals in my own collection, and may have a chance to reload them at a later date.

16th January- added two new tribute collage to Ladies of LOTG by JTR in his gallery. Added "Chamber of Fear" to page 8 of the DVD screen caps.

The site blew out its monthly megs for the first time in awhile. Please be aware that this is a FREE host website, and heavy image downloads will blow out my daily/monthly limits that much faster. I've added a new story in the Other Author's fanfic archive A Love Story by JTR, and John's also done some wonderful illustrations to go with the story. I will also be adding a new gallery for Glen's wonderful illustrations for his "crush" story. Look for that soon. Have a great week.

1st January 2005- Happy New Year LOTG fans- added a new story to Dan Keenen's author index- The Perfect Present(a WIP). Created a new header for John's future story along with a promotional collage on the "Other Author's" header page. I'm starting a full time night shift job today, so my time on the net will be less, but I'm hoping that won't affect the updates too much.
